I created  this splash screen for the comic in December of 2003 and started using it about  June 2004.

From Two Moons Too Many:

“Robot? I really don’t like that word. Reploid is a much better choice. That’s right, Raye, I’m not from your world. Soon, you and the rest of these fleshlings won’t be either. NEGACONS TRANSFORM!”

All around beams of light shot up from the ground and when they blinked out the Negacons surrounded the Scouts.

“That’s impossible! I definitely saw that one blow up.” Sailor Moon pointed at Sawman.

“What you saw, Salad Moon, was my olde shell. Before we begin, I have a question, for you Dashman, a sword?”

“No time for that, now get moving!” Almost immediately, Graniteman and Maficman turned around and fell back. As they did so, the packs on their backs flipped up over their heads and in a flash of light they looked like a pair of legs. Phoenixman jumped into the air and his torso separated down the middle revealing an inner armor piece that slide out and reconnected the two halves. His head was drawn inside while his lower arms folded against his upper arms and his lower legs folded up against his upper legs. Jetman and Sawman were transforming as well. Their arms swiveled back and their lower legs folded up against their upper legs. The spot where the knees were glowed and a hand shot out of Sawman and a buster cannon shot out of Jetman. All five of the robots combined together. Sawman forming the left arm, Jetman forming the right arm. Graniteman formed the left leg and Maficman became the right leg.

“Just one more piece.” Roruko shoved aside the two Scouts and then glowed white for a moment and then was encased in the Dashman Armor. She jumped up high in the air, started spinning so fast as to become a blur. When she stopped, Dashman had transformed into a giant version of his head.

“HEAD ON! I am Ravager. Prepare for termination.” The twenty-two foot tall robot stomped on the ground casing it to shake toppling the Scouts.

This a reason why I date stamp comics. Dave put his comic up for the world to see and I did the same much later; I actually created it a year before.

I'm still having to endure pirate jokes.
