As I recall I was watching and reading Puella Magi Madoka Magica at the time
I was making these comics.

That series took the magical girl genre in a totally dark direction.

This is about as dark as I'm going to get with the Daisukino Sisters.
However I do plan on touching upon serious topics with them in the future.
