One of the things I struggled with is how to explain this alien culture to the reader.
I wanted Jeseka and her grandfather to talk naturally to each other,
not talk like a Wikipedia article. Which happened so much on Star Trek.

They know all about their culture. Why would they take the time to explain their customs to each other?
I think I pulled it off.

I had though of just using one of Cammy's sprites from 2006.
Then I thought I would have some fun editing and repainting Jeseka's sprite.
