Throughout the year I had this running gag of leaving the middle panel blank;
this time I decided to make it the third panel.

I had seriously considered making each comic an animated GIF with the Leaf Shield rotating.
I thought better. What if I had to fix a mistake? Which I did. Many, many, times.
